Jason Bottoms, DPT
Jason grew up in Western North Carolina and attended UNC for his undergraduate degree. He graduated from UNC's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2020. Since then he has worked at a sport medicine physical therapy practice in Chapel Hill and at a retirement community in Raleigh. Jason is interested in working with patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions with a special interest in sports medicine, dry needling and manual therapy.
In his free time, Jason enjoys traveling and taking and hikes with his wife, Anna, daughter, Adeline and his dog, Rona. As you might have guessed., he is an avid Tar Heel fan and enjoys pulling for the Heels in all sports but especially football and basketball.
I first came to Jason at FIT Physical Therapy in October 2021 when I had a pain in my hip area that I couldn't quite place. I was impressed with Jason's knowledge & skill, but also his willingness to ask & research if he didn't have the answers! We worked through lots of exercises to get to the bottom of my pain & help me get back to running. Throughout the last year, I have been able to go back to Jason with various aches & pains, and we have worked together to help me feel better! I love the reliability & personal focus that FIT PT offers by being a smaller practice. I have recommended Jason and FIT PT to several running friends & will continue to come to the practice myself for all of my ailments!
