Shelley Palermo, MPT
Shelley earned a BS in Psychology from the College of William and Mary and graduated in 1991 with an MS in Physical Therapy from Boston University. Prior to joining FIT PT in 2010, Shelley worked in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities in Northern Virginia, Chapel Hill and Durham. She has been in the private practice outpatient setting for the five years prior to joining FIT. Her areas of expertise and interest include working with patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, and amputees, well as the general orthopedic population. She also has a special interest in running injuries. She is trained in the McKenzie Method.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, running, biking and reading.
